Chip's Thoughts on The Matter

Dear Friends and family,

It is so great to be able to write about such a gift. Elizabeth and I have wanted for this to happen for many years. It has been hard to understand why we have had to wait so long and why something that is so important to my dear wife was so long in coming but what a joy it is. I am just overflowing with emotions.
For those of you who know me, I love to be with my young nieces and nephews and have taken great joy in those relationships. All of my sisters and brothers have been gracious in sharing these precious gifts with me which has helped me remain faithful that I would one day know for myself what it was like to have a child. Here we go. Now I have to look around and assess the situation. My father would understand feeling the need to write a five paragraph order.....(Situation, Mission, Execution, Administration and Logistics, Command and signal) My wife would not! We all know who runs this show. All I can really say at this point is we all serve a mysterious GOD and a great one. I have maintained for the past nine years that it would be in God's time and he has showed us the truth in that.....As for me, he has given me the most wonderful woman to share my life with. He has given her the will to be a mother and the faith to hold on to that desire no matter what she faced, and He has given her the strength to withstand my sometimes oddness. I am blessed beyond any other. May He bless all of you as he has me over the years.
