Glucose Tolerance Testing

UPDATE: I Passed!! The result from this test showed everything to be fine. Thanks for your prayers.

So, I know I haven't posted in a while and I need to let you know what is going on with Erica and me. Well last week I had the glucose test and it really wasn't too bad... The drink tasted like a creamsicle and I didn't get sick or light headed, so I thought I was surely in the clear. No such luck. The CBC blood results were all good, but my blood sugar was high. Now tomorrow I have to take the three hour glucose tolerance test. The nurse says, "You need to fast starting at midnight and when you come in I will stick you then you will drink the orange drink then I will stick you 3 more times on the hour." Can anyone say "YIPPEE, Yeah for me!" All I know is that if anyone so much as tries to pinch me tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day they'll wish they hadn't. Erica seems to be doing very well! She is active almost all the time now and it is a sweet reminder of the precious gift that she is. God has truly blessed Chip and I with such great family and friends. On days like today when I am feeling anxious about tomorrow I am glad that I can call up my family or my friends and say please pray for me and then know that they will. I love you all!
