Erica's First Snowday

On Monday morning Erica and I were able to sleep in late (7 am) and enjoy a glorious snow day. The snow outside was so beautiful and I was so excited for Erica to experience it for the first time. I bundled her up in her new wool coat, her little lamb hat and mittens and out the door we went. It was bitterly cold and windy and Erica was less than impressed, so we went back inside. After her midmorning nap I bundled her up again and this time she was curious, but still unsure of the cold weather.

I took her back in and we spent the day cuddling and playing.. it was so much fun to have an extra long weekend with my precious girl! She is growing and changing so fast can you believe that she is six months old? She now says, "da-da" "Erca" and "na na," She loves music especially piano. Sometimes she even waves her hand like she is conducting; it is so precious. She is rolling over proficiently now and she is very close to being able to sit up on her own.Chip and I are both looking forward to having some time off with our sweet daughter this holiday season!
